The aviation world descended upon Avalon Airport near Geelong Victoria for the bi-annual Australian International Airshow from 1-6 March 2011. The airshow comprised an extensive trade expo of military and civilian aircraft and was topped off by two days of activities, displays and flight demonstrations (including military aircraft formations, combat simulations and aerobatics) for the general public.
